BLUE CHRISTMAS - dECEMBER 21, 4:30 PM

We've all heard the refrain that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year.

However, for many, that's a sentiment that feels distant from their Advent experience. It could be in the mourning of the death of a loved one, whether it's recent or many years past. It may be in being far from home or bearing the weight of illness, addiction, or estrangement. It may be in loneliness, financial struggle, or coping with trauma associated with the season. It may be in mental health struggles such as seasonal affective disorder. It may be in looking at the pain, need, and violence in our world and struggling for hope.

Blue Christmas services are held on the longest night of the year for prayerful worship among any who are feeling... Well, blue at Christmastime. Windcrest UMC will be holding a thirty-minute service for just this purpose on Sunday, December 21st at 4:30 pm in order that we might provide comfort, affirm that it's okay to not be okay, and let the hurting know that they are not alone-- for God is near, and so is the faithful family of WUMC.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT - DECEMBER 21, 6:00 PM

Join us for an evening of fun at our holiday Family movie night, "Polar Express." Come in your pajamas, bring lawn chairs, blankets and have an enjoyable evening.

Celebrate Christmas Eve at Windcrest UMC

You are warmly invited to join us for a night filled with light, music, and the joy of Christ’s birth.

Family Candlelight Services at 4:30 pm and  Traditional Candlelight Service at 7:00 pm. Experience the beauty of the sanctuary aglow with candles as we share in Scripture, carols, and the timeless story of Christmas.

Christmas Handbell Concert at 6:30 pm. Between services, delight in the sounds of our Handbell Choir as they ring out festive melodies that lift hearts and spirits.

This is a cherished tradition for families, friends, and neighbors—a time to pause, reflect, and celebrate together. Whether you’ve worshiped here for years or are visiting for the first time, you’ll find a place of welcome and belonging.

Come and be part of this holy night. All are welcome!

men's ministry - steak and conversation

On break and will resume meeting on January 24, 5:00 PM

Bring your favorite cut of steak, seasoned just the way you like it—we’ll handle the grilling and provide all the sides. This is a time for men to connect, share, and grow together as we talk about life, family, and faith. We’ll be continuing our journey into the book “Men of God: Becoming the Man God Wants You to Be.” Each month, we’ll explore a new chapter together. It’s never to late to join in.

We meet monthly to build community and strengthen our walk with God.
