Welcome to Windcrest United Methodist Church

Join us for a Spirit Led Service, we value being adaptable and flexible in the use of spiritual gifts so to reach our diverse community through the power of the Holy Spirit.


We are a vibrant and growing community of faith in Northeast San Antonio, located at the corner or Walzem and Midcrown - just off IH-35 at Loop 410. We are minutes from Randolph AFB, SAMMC, Rackspace and Amazon. 


We are home to Windcrest Day School and Child Development Center and thriving ministries for children, youth and adults of all ages. We hope you'll join us for worship.

5th Sunday Combined service - 10:00 am (during months with a 5th Sunday)

Share a meal, build community, and enjoy a fun activity night for all ages. Bring a dish if you’re able, but most importantly, bring yourself. There’s always a place for you at the table.

  • Pastor Waddle's bible study - oN-bREAK TILL SEPTEMBER

    Pastor Waddle invites you to join him this Tuesday from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, we will meet in Room 303 in the McClung Building. Come join us as we get closer to God through the scriptures. After Tuesday June 16, Pastor's Bible Study will go on-break during the summer months and will resume in September.

    Bring your favorite cut of steak, seasoned just the way you like it—we’ll handle the grilling and provide all the sides. This is a time for men to connect, share, and grow together as we talk about life, family, and faith.

  • Market Days at Windcrest UMC Begins August 15!

    Windcrest friends and neighbors, we’re excited to launch Market Days at Windcrest United Methodist Church starting Saturday, August 15, 2026! Join us every 3rd Saturday for a vibrant community market filled with local vendors, handmade goods, treats, and friendly faces.


    Market Hours: 10 AM – 2 PM

    Vendor Set‑Up: Begins at 8 AM

    Location: Windcrest UMC Parking Lot (all outdoor spaces)

    Vendor Spaces: • $25 for 10x10 • $50 for 10x20 Vendors provide their own tables, chairs, and signage. Canopies encouraged!

  • fAITH & LIFE DISCUSSION NEW SMALL GROUP - July 13, 7:00 pm

    Join Pastor Waddle for a new Faith & Life Discussion small group as we explore the life-changing study "What on Earth Am I Here For?


    This six-week journey begins Monday, July 13, at 7:00 pm. All are welcome as we gather to grow in purpose, faith, and community.

  • Quacky Wacky Trivia Night - August 8, 6:00 pm

    Quacky WackyTrivia Night -Bring your friends and your best guesses. We’ll have snacks, iced tea, lemonade, and sodas for just 50¢.


    What animal can hold its breath the longest?

    A.    Whale

    B.    Sea turtle

    C.    Alligator

     

    Can you answer that question? If so, you may want to put a team together for our next Trivia Night!!!  The next Trivia Night will be on Saturday, August 8 from 6-8pm.  Here some details:

                   

    • The cost to play is $2 per person
    • Teams consist of 4-6 players (yes – a team can be family members, a combination of families, or friends)
    • Players should be at least 10-years old.
    • Snacks are available – Popcorn for .25 cents a bag, Soft drinks for .50 each. Ice tea and lemonade are provided at no cost. Other snacks will be for sale as well.


    If you would like to come and observe – be our guest!!! The more the merrier!


    If you would like to play but don’t have a team – no worries – we can place you on a team when you arrive.


    YES! The winning team will receive prizes!
