WINDCREST UMC SCRIP FUNDRAISER PROGRAM FOR MISSIONS

Raise funds for the WUMC Missions Committee while you shop by using gift cards instead of cash, checks or credit cards at your favorite retailer.

· You get a Full Value Card and the Church gets Free Money for our Missions Work Area to use toward various missions like CAM, Kairos, Habitat for Humanity and others.

· Buy any of over 350 gift cards one week and they will be in the Gathering Place to pick up the following Sunday. To see the list of gift cards available go to the scrip website listed below or click on the link.

· You can also order online. Follow directions to be sure that Windcrest UMC gets the credit for your purchases.

Do you wish you could give more to missions? Do you hear the stories shared and long to help, but don't have much room in your budget? What if you could support missions with money you already spend each month?

On Sundays in the Gathering Place the Mission Work Area will be taking orders for Scrip Cards (gift cards) to your favorite restaurants, grocery and chain stores. For example, you could purchase a Walmart gift card in the amount of your monthly grocery budget, or plan to purchase restaurant gift cards to give as gifts. Missions will receive 2-14% of the value of every gift card you purchase through the church.

When you order a card on Sunday, you can normally pick it up the following Sunday. It takes about a week for the gift cards to come in.
