Be Part of the Pumpkin Sales Team! You don’t need to be able lift pumpkins to sell them. Anyone who can sit, talk to customers or count and collect money is more than qualified to help sell pumpkins. Remember, our purpose in selling pumpkins is not merely to raise money for our Children & Youth Ministry, it’s to get to know our neighbors who come to shop at the patch. A cheerful, friendly face is the most important qualification anyone needs to be a sales person at the pumpkin patch.

Your pumpkin started life about 100 days ago on a farm on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Farmington, NM. Great care has been taken in the planting, growing and harvest to ensure that you have purchased a quality pumpkin with a long shelf life. Unlike many other produce growers we use no undocumented labor. Nearly 100% of our farm workforce is Native American. We believe it is very important to use domestic labor as the unemployment rate in this region is over 40%. This project and others like it create roughly 25 full-time jobs and 550 seasonal jobs for Native Americans. Your pumpkin is a non-GMO product. After ripening, this pumpkin was hand loaded on a truck and traveled all the way to the our pumpkin patch to help raise money for Children & Youth Ministry. This pumpkin has helped a lot of folks on his way to you…treat him nice!
