Music Programs
at Windcrest United Methodist Church

There is a place for you and for your family in the WUMC choir lineup. Share the talent you have, or perhaps rediscover a talent of years ago. A nursery is available at no charge upon request.  We PROMISE you a great time in this wonderful Windcrest United Methodist Church ministry. 

There are plenty of choirs to choose from. Pick the one that is right for you and join us as you make music a part of your life.

Our Choir line-up 
Adult Choirs
The Chancel Choir: This adult group sings every Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. worship service.  They sing traditional choral literature.  Their meeting night is Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m.  On Sunday mornings, they meet to warm up at 9 before the service.  There is always room for another voice, especially tenors.  You need not be a polished singer; rather you need to enjoy singing with others.
 
Faithful Men: This group of men meets every 3rd and 4th Wednesday evening at 7:10 in the Choir Room. They sing on the 4th Sunday at the 8:15a.m. worship service.
 
Susanna Singers: This group of women meets every 1st and 2nd Wednesday evening at 7:10 in the Choir Room. They sing on the 2nd Sunday of every month at the 8:15 a.m. worship service.
Joyful Ringers Hand Bells: From September to May, this group of adults meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00. They play at least once a month at the 8:15 and 9:30 a.m. worship services.
Reading music is a requirement for belonging to this group.
 
Jolly Jubilee Jammers
A group of retired adults whose mission and ministry is to share God’s love by reaching out to the community of senior adults through music and fellowship; This group performs at nursing homes and retirement communities once a week. There are no membership requirements for this group other than being able to enjoy having fun and being able to go out with the group as much as possible.

Children’s Church: Each Sunday during the 11:00 worship service, children ages 4 through 4th grade are invited to participate in Children’s Church. Children’s Ministry and Music Ministry work together to build a worship foundation for the children at WUMC. In Children’s Church we focus on God in a personal way and experience worship through songs and Bible stories. Registration forms are available from the ushers on Sunday morning as you enter the Sanctuary.
