God's Greater Story

The work is finished!  Jesus and His sacrifice on the Cross was the completion needed to save us from our sins so that we may see God and be with Him for eternity if we only believe!  Jesus' sacrifice was written in the Old Testament 66 times:
Job 19:25
I know that my Redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.
Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
And God spoke it again before and after it happened in the New Testament so that we would have plenty of material to read and believe.  The Holy Spirit will speak it into your heart if you ask!
John 3:16
 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
1 John 4:10
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Revelation 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
 
Dear Jesus,
Come into my heart and be my personal Lord and Savior and fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I may know the Truth and the Truth will set me free and make me whole in your Precious and Holy Name I pray,  Amen.
