A Flagship Church

     In the era of sailing ships, a flagship was usually where the admiral ran operations, on a ship with a room large enough to meet with all the captains of the other ships and make plans. Today a flagship operation is seen as a leader in the mainstream. It does not mean the operation is the largest of the most elite, but rather it's an operation that hosts and seeks to gather the community together celebrating its centralized location. The staff of our church find both of these definitions appropriate and have declared our place a Flagship Church.

     As a flagship United Methodist Congregation, we lead by serving. We grow through stewardship, intentional evangelism and outreach ministries, varied worship experiences and strong discipleship. Through all, we honor, glorify and serve God.
